We begin 2023 with many illusions and with the total and absolute commitment to continue taking our project "Hearing Screenings to Detect Childhood Deafness" to those boys and girls who need us the most.
On our first day, boys and girls from 5 to 10 years of age will benefit from the village of Anzá, located in the Western subregion of the department of Antioquia, about an hour and a half away from the city of Medellín.
The event was scheduled for the first week of February, but due to public order issues it was not possible to hold it. It was a priority to ensure the safety of our health and hearing care professionals. The day has not been cancelled, we are rescheduling the agenda and waiting for public order issues to stabilize to make it possible.
We hope to be able to visit them soon and in the next report we will be telling you about the progress of this day in the company of the municipal mayor's office. We will continue working to prevent childhood deafness, regardless of the difficulties that arise and the unforeseen events that may arise.
Thanks to our benefactors for all your support, without you this is not possible.
