Since last September until now, we have been preparing our next trip to the most disadvantaged indigenous communities in Venezuela. During the month of February 2019 we will visit 8 indigenous communities of the Amazonas state in the Alto Ventuari area, giving medical attention to people from the Sanema, Jivi, Piaroa, and Yekwana peoples.
We have been contacting specialized doctors who want to be our volunteers, selling Amazon products in a Christmas bazaar organized by the Swiss ladies of Venezuela to raise funds, collecting medicines and promoting indigenous culture in schools in Caracas through the screening of indigenous-themed films and ecological.
We hope to continue with your support so that this next campaign of the Ubik project will be as successful as the first one !!
Desde el mes de septiembre pasado hasta ahora, hemos estado preparando nuestro siguiente viaje a las comunidades indígenas más desfavorecidas de Venezuela. Durante el mes de febrero de 2019 visitaremos 8 comunidades indígenas del estado Amazonas en la zona del Alto Ventuari, dando atención médica a personas de los pueblos sanema, jivi, Piaroa, y Yekwana.
Hemos estado, contactando con médicos especialistas que quieran ser nuestros voluntarios, vendiendo productos amazónicos en un bazar navideño organizado por las damas suizas de Venezuela para recaudar fondos, recolectando medicamentos y promocionando la cultura indígena en colegios de Caracas mediante la proyección de cine de temática indígena y ecológico.
Esperamos segir contando con su apoyo para que esta próxima campaña del proyecto Ubik sea tan exitosa como la primera!!.
