Many families in Desa Mekar Asih must walk more than an hour to reach the nearest healthcare facility. Elderly people, pregnant women, and children are especially affected. As a result, medical check-ups are often delayed, increasing the risk of untreated illnesses and preventable health complications.
This project will bring healthcare services directly to the community through mobile health outreach activities. Residents will receive free medical check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, consultations, health education, and essential medicines. Healthcare workers and volunteers will ensure that vulnerable families can access care without the burden of travel costs.
The project will improve community health through early detection, preventive care, and increased health awareness. Families will be better equipped to manage their health, reducing the risk of serious illness and improving quality of life. The initiative will also strengthen community resilience by promoting regular healthcare practices.
