Since its establishment in April 2006 up to June 2023, FMIC has become a beacon of hope for 0.71 million patients who were otherwise burdened by the scarcity of resources and faced the grim prospect of forgoing critical medical treatments. The overall contribution have amounted to over a staggering 49 million USD, which has directly funded the medical expenses and services that these patients desperately needed. At FMIC, we firmly believe that healthcare is a fundamental right that should be accessible to all, regardless of financial constraints. Donor support has allowed us to bridge the gap and make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families across Afghanistan. This program has not only provided financial relief but has also brought hope, dignity, and a chance for a healthier future.
FMIC stands as a symbol of excellence in healthcare, offering services that were previously rare in the country. Patients who once had to consider expensive foreign treatments can now receive comparable and superior care right at home. This not only saves them substantial financial resources but also reduces the burden of traveling abroad, making the treatment process less time and resource-intensive. We cannot overstate the profound gratitude we have for our donors, both individuals and organizations, who have extended their compassionate hand towards this noble cause. Your belief in our mission has empowered us to persist in our endeavors, reaching even more deserving patients and transforming their lives.
