Earlier this year, our team brought specialized eye care to children through two health brigades in Medellín, held in April and July.
During these brigades, children received vision screenings and specialized assessments, allowing our team to identify needs that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
But the care did not end with the brigades.
Children who needed glasses have already received them, while others were referred for specialized treatment and surgery. Each of these interventions represents a child who is now one step closer to seeing better, learning, and enjoying everyday life.
Although we have not yet been able to return to remote communities this year, these brigades have allowed us to continue identifying children's health needs and connecting them with the care they need.
Because a health brigade is not just one day of medical attention. It can be the beginning of a child's journey toward better health.
Thank you for helping us continue that journey and for bringing healthcare closer to children who need it most.
