Sasanka, a 72 years old man resident of Herombogopalpur of Herombogopalpur Gram Panchyat, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India. He is staying with his wife Shibani who is 65 years of age, as his son migrated into a different state due to work demands.
Sasanka was suffering from knee pain and other health issues. His wife was suffering from body ache and for that she was uncomfortable in moving around. They were suffering from such issues for last 2 years. They were visiting quacks for such issues and the net result was never fruitful but expenditures just increased. Other than quacks, they have tried in other places also like Vellore but they were not completely cured.
One day the health worker of Sabuj Sangha visited her house and initiated a discussion on their health issues and suggested them to visit the outreach camp that has been organized in Kuemuri. She also suggested to develop a health card for general treatment.
Presently, they have followed the suggestions of the health worker and developed the health card understanding the significance of it. The health card was made for all the family members. Moreover, they have shown the doctors in the outreach camps several times and now completely cured with the support of specialised doctors of Sabuj Sangha.
