The Peer Educator meeting, which was delayed for several months due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, can finally be held again this month. There is a slight difference in the peer meeting this time. Peer members are divided into 3 groups where each group is scheduled to come at different times so that we can still carry out health protocols. At this meeting, YRS provided training on how to conduct education through social media because at this time we were urged to limit direct contact with other people which resulted in peer members unable to provide face-to-face education to the community around the Badung Market. During training, peers listen very enthusiastically. We hope through this activity, peer members can help YRS in disseminating health information so that the information provided by YRS through social media can reach more people in the future.
The COVID 19 pandemic is not a barrier for us to continue educating the public. This August, YRS collaborated with the Annika Linden Center (ALC) to broadcast live on Instagram. YRS is very happy because through this Instagram Live Session, YRS can share tips on how to prevent Breast and Cervical Cancer for women. Through this activity, YRS hopes women in Indonesia, especially in Bali can be free from Breast and Cervical Cancer.
