We are thankful to you for your kind support for our work. Your valuable donations have been crucial in helping poor Filariasis patients living in slums of Srikalahasti town in India. These activities are possible because of your support. Thank you for your generosity for ensuring that poor Filariasis patients have a chance for a healthy life and for adding happiness in their lives.
Organized Health camp on 4 th December 2018 in Gajendra nagar slum in srikalahasti. Sub court Judge Mrs. Sandhya Rani attended the camp along with local Advocates. Dr Prameelamma examined the patients and provided medicines. She explained about the precautions to be taken by the Filariasis patients while taking the medicines.
The women in above picture suffering with Lymphtic Filariasis since 25 years. She sell vegetables in the market. She is attending health camp whenever the STEPS NGO organizes camp. In the beginning she suffered with this disease and could not able to sell vegetables in the market. After taking medicines regularly prescribed by the STEPS Medical Officer, now she can able to attend her daily work. She said "after taking the treatment and Medicines provided by STEPS NGO, now I am not getting any complications and attending my regular work. This is possible only by the support of Donors through GlobalGiving.”
