Healing Haven: Build a life-saving medical unit

Thanks to your generosity and continued belief in our mission, we are excited to share the first steps we have taken toward creating Healing Haven, our future medical and quarantine room for rescued dogs.

Although we are still raising the funds needed to begin the full renovation, we didn't want to wait to start making progress. Over the past weeks, our team carried out a thorough clean-up and the first stage of sanitization of the space. Years of accumulated debris and dust were removed, the entire area was carefully cleaned, and an initial disinfection was completed to prepare the room for the renovation work that will follow.

These may seem like small steps, but they are an important part of transforming this empty space into a safe medical environment where sick, injured, and newly rescued dogs can recover in proper isolation. Every improvement brings us one step closer to reducing the risk of infectious disease transmission and providing the level of care these vulnerable animals deserve.

As additional funds become available, we will begin the first major renovation works, including structural improvements, utilities, insulation, and the installation of specialized medical equipment and recovery kennels.
