SafeArt's Healing Arts Imaginary Care Unit officially hosted its first session at The Upper Valley Haven homeless shelter in White River Junction. The group of women met weekly for five months to build community and learn techniques for healing through various types of creative expression. We have been excitedly invited to begin again in January of 2020, and are looking forward to a continued partnership with The Haven.
The Healing Arts program was a huge success at Riverbend Residential Care Home in Chelsea VT and we have recieved a small Community Action Team Grant from Ben and Jerry's Foundation to continue that group!
We are looking forward to continued expansion, with help from our donors and Vermont grants, thank you!
