Thanks to the continued generosity of our monthly donors and supporters, our plastic waste management initiative in Uganda is making meaningful progress toward creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable communities.
This project continues to empower community leaders, youth groups, women’s organizations, and local institutions to actively participate in plastic waste collection, sorting, and recycling activities across underserved communities in Uganda. Through your support, we are addressing the growing challenge of environmental pollution while creating opportunities for local employment, community engagement, and environmental education.
Over the reporting period, we have continued organizing institutional and community-based plastic collection efforts, helping reduce plastic waste in schools, trading centers, markets, and residential areas. Community members are now increasingly participating in responsible waste disposal and recycling activities, demonstrating a growing sense of environmental responsibility.
With the help of your monthly donations, we have also managed to continue strengthening our plastic waste management systems. Collection points and recycling support structures are gradually being expanded, enabling more plastic waste to be sorted, processed, and diverted away from the environment. Our teams continue to work closely with local recyclers by providing training, guidance, and technical support to improve recycling practices and help them meet acceptable recycling standards.
In addition, awareness campaigns and community sensitization activities are continuously being conducted to educate communities about the dangers of plastic pollution and the importance of proper waste management. These campaigns are helping to change attitudes and inspire collective action, especially among young people and schools.
We are proud to share that, because of your support, our environment is steadily becoming cleaner. Communities that previously struggled with unmanaged plastic waste are now witnessing visible improvements in sanitation and environmental cleanliness. This progress belongs to all of you who continue to stand with us.
On behalf of the entire team and the communities we serve, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to every donor and supporter who continues to contribute to this mission. Your support is creating real and lasting impact.
We kindly ask you to continue supporting this important work and to share our project with your friends, families, and networks so that together we can reach more communities and create an even bigger impact across Uganda.
Thank you for believing in our vision for a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
