Report about Half a million Tree project - Tororo Uganda
Liberty conservation and development association raised US$929.50 during the Global Giving Green Challenge. We would like to thank all the people who donated towards this project. we have used US$ 150 to purchase 300 seedlings of avocados and we have distributed the seedlings to the beneficiaries to plant. one of the photo shows the beneficiary planting the seedlings. for the remaining money, we are planing to raise seedlings to be planted next year in the month of March to April 2011 we estimate to raise 30,000 Tree seedlings of woodlot using the reaming money and the establishment of the nursery bed will start mid this month.
