Through generous donations of supplies from our friends in the US , we quickly managed to organize a mask making business using the women seamstresses from within our organization and in our outreach communities. We donated supplies and models to 18 women businesses which led to generating about 20,000 masks. The masks were sold at low cost and were of great help. With our other sanitary, communication and awareness programs coupled by a low rate of deadly cases in Haiti, we were able to diminish the effects of the virus within our community.
Our program is ongoing and part of a series of program that collectively will serve to educate and empower our served population with sanitary procedures that we hope will last beyond KORONAVIRUS. Thank you for your support
