Hello everyone, thanks to the work of our entire team and the help of each and every donor, we continue to work to combat hate speech in Chile.
We have resumed some face-to-face activities and we have presented the first results of our study of xenophobia in Chile. This was done at the Communication Research Colloquium: "Media and Migration in Chile" with the Alberto Hurtado University and its School of Journalism. We hope in this sense to continue advancing with alliances such as the work we have done with the program "Forming Digital Citizenship" of the School of Journalism of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (https://ciudadaniadigital.uai.cl/quienes-somos/partners/). This alliance will allow us to conduct workshops and talks for teenagers and their parents.
We will keep you informed of the progress soon so we can keep moving forward and commenting on hate speech in more schools.
We count on you to continue fighting against hate speech.
Sincerely

we keep working to fight hate speech
By Tomas Lawrence | Project Leader
Hello everyone, thanks to the work of our entire team and the help of each of the donors, we continue working to combat hate speech in Chile. Especially in the context of COVID. Today in Chile, thanks to the vaccination process, we are thinking of being able to carry out some face-to-face workshops again, with the safeguards indicated by the authorities.
We remind you of the alliance we have with the "Formando Cidadania Digital" program of the Faculty of Journalism of the Adolfo Ibáñez University (https://ciudadaniadigital.uai.cl/quienes-somos/partners/). This alliance will allow us to hold workshops and talks for adolescents and their parents.
We will keep you posted on developments soon so that we can keep moving forward and commenting on hate speech in more schools.
We are counting on you to continue fighting hate speech.
Sincerely

Hello everyone, thanks to the work of our entire team and the help of each of the donors, we continue working to combat hate speech in Chile. Especially in the context of COVID. Today in Chile, thanks to the vaccination process, we are thinking of being able to carry out some face-to-face workshops again, with the safeguards indicated by the authorities. During this last period we have given talks to more than 300 teachers, 200 parents and 200 students from different schools in the fifth region and Santiago.
