The Rehabilitation Therapy Center at Cedar Village provides expert care with individualized treatment plans. Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists are on-staff at Cedar Village, and specialize in treating people 50 and better. Patients have access to the latest treatment plans and newest technologies to meet their unique needs.
The Aquatic Therapy Center is state of the art, including two warm water small pools for individual therapy and a large warm water pool for group work. Resident programming, like Water Tai Chi and Water Aerobics, are also held in the Aquatic Therapy Center. Because of the bouyancy of the water, warm water therapy is a powerful tool for recovery, making exercise possible without strain on the joints.
Whether it is transitional care between the hospital and home, or out-patient therapy, patients and therapists work together to rebuild strength, balance, flexibility and endurance with the top-priority to heal faster, feel better, and return the patient to the life they love.
