By Stewart L. Bromberg | Cedar Village Foundation Director
Our residents’ lives continue to be enriched at Cedar Village. Popular classes include jewelry making, ceramics, and flower arranging. They participate in the bell choir, music therapy sessions, and the Cedar Village Choir.
Recently, residents enjoyed arranging flowers together. First, the residents learned how to combine different categories of flowers together to make a beautiful bouquet. Next, they learned about how to cut the flowers before adding them to the vase. The flowers were placed in vases and then used to bring cheer to patients receiving health care. The patients enjoyed the added color to their rooms and the fragrance that the bouquet provided.
Your donation will allow participants to continue making flower bouquets together.
