This week, we began Tai Chi classesas part of our Aquatic Wellness Program in The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati Aquatic Therapy Center. Every Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., residents have the opportunity to take a Tai Chi class which focuses on muscle strengthening, balance, coordination, stretching and range of motion. The class is followed by an open swim time. Participants are able to use an automatic chair lift for easy entrance and exit from the pool.
One of the participants said, “I haven’t been able to go into a pool in such a long time. I definitely plan to be here every week!”
Our donors make it possible to have this type of programming available to seniors.
