In July 2013, Cedar Village will break ground for its new warm water Aquatic Therapy Center which will be adjacent to the Rehab Center. There will be two small pools for individual therapy and a larger pool for more group work and individual therapy workouts. The addition of warm water therapy will be a tremendous asset. Because of the buoyancy of the water, warm water therapy is a powerful tool for recovery, making exercise possible without strain on the joints.
The Aquatic Therapy Center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014. Clients will include both Cedar Village residents and community members who will use the Aquatic Therapy Center as outpatients.
