By Sally Korkin | Executive Director, Cedar Village Foundation
Patients who come to Cedar Village for inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy are benefitting from the services they receive at The Rehabilitation Center at Cedar Village. In our last report, we introduced a new therapy team member, Gates, a golden retriever, who is a rescue dog and has been trained to provide therapeutic respite for patients. Gates helps motivate the patients to work as hard as they can to reach their goals.
Our biggest news is that Cedar Village opened a satellite Rehabilitation Center at the Mayerson JCC located in Amberly. This newest endeavor will not only bring awareness of the services Cedar Village provides to residents, but continues to strengthen our community
