Greetings all,
We have begun the first large-scale implementation of the Greenworks program! We are currently working with 17 teachers from Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, South Korea, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Zambia to teach them about active learning. Over two months, they will be exploring the Greenworks project design curriculum, working to understand, translate, and adapt it to their local languages and classroom settings. Successful completion of this course will yield certification and the teachers will join the Greenworks network. Our goal is to have all certified teachers deploy the curriculum in their classes in early 2024 so that their students can submit high-quality project grants by the middle of the year, at which point we can disburse funds to bring these environmental stewardship projects to life.
A quick reminder that the Little by Little fundraising campaign is ending soon, and donations through GlobalGiving of up to $50 are matched at 50% through the end of today (September 22nd).
With gratitude,
Lev
