Support Need for Mosquito Net Distribution & Campaign
Protibandhi Shishu Shiekkha O Paricharja Samity (PROSHIPS) taken initiate on the recent Dengue outbreak in Bangladesh has reached critical stage with notable surge in cases and deaths this year. Project aim to address above-mentioned issues & provide support to protect the health and well-being of Children and Persons with Disabilities in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. Jamalpur district has witnessed surge in Dengue cases, affecting vulnerable communities, including persons with disabilities & their families. Lack of awareness Dengue prevention, limited access to medical care, financial constraints exacerbate challenges faced by these individuals.
During the Reporting Period On behalf of Organization have several activities implementing in the Community. We here with mention that- IEC Materials Develop and Distribute in the Community People and educational institutes, Operate Campaign with Microphone & Small Vehicle with in Local Hat Bazar and in front of Hospital, Local govt. unit offices premises’ and Conducted several Courtyard Meeting in the community. Mosquito Distribution into affected person with disabilities, Affected Beneficiaries are very happy for receiving Mosquito net. Activity Picture enclosed here with for better understanding.
If we have collectively go forward on this issues for coverage the aim of this project is to address the issues and provide support to protect the health and well-being of Children and Persons with Disabilities in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. Distribute mosquito nets and educate beneficiaries about the importance of mosquito control to prevent Dengue transmission. Conduct targeted awareness campaigns to educate persons with disabilities and their families about Dengue fever, its symptoms, and preventive measures. Provide financial assistance for diagnostic tests and necessary medical treatments to ensure timely intervention for Dengue infections. Train healthcare providers in the region to enhance their ability to identify and manage Dengue cases among persons with disabilities.
PROSHIPS wants to continued support to Beneficiaries in the Community and provided mosquito net others materials for creating enabling situation, which promote human rights and dignity. Beneficiaries are very enjoying receiving materials & parents are also very happy with visible improvement and thankful to us for their continued support towards their safety.
If we increased awareness about Dengue fever will empower beneficiaries to take preventive measures, reducing the risk of infection. Financial support for medical expenses will enable timely access to healthcare facilities for diagnosis and treatment. Through mosquito net distribution and educational efforts, the incidence of Dengue infections can be minimized,Capacity building will strengthen the region's healthcare system and improve its ability to address future Dengue outbreaks.
