The malnutrition of children is the consequence of multiple factors that go from the modification of the local diet, to the lack of economic resources that allow them to access healthy food. The School Food Circle seeks to modify the current environment, promoting comprehensive actions according to the socioeconomic and cultural context, promoting food governance and placing the right to food in the hands of local producers. Through the GlobalGiving donation, more than 100 girls and boys from Altos de Chiapas have increased their opportunities to access healthy and quality food, through support for families. Today more than ever, having a donation makes a difference, allowing girls and boys to reduce their vulnerability, giving them greater opportunities to improve their quality of life and that of their families.
