Say hello to Pickles!
Pickles came to us in March from San Diego Humane Society. He was brought to the shelter as an owner surrender in August 2025. He is a Great Pyrenees mix, likely with Border Collie. He was nervous inside a house environment and struggled with life at the shelter, which made him the perfect candidate to come to the ranch.
He is still getting used to our sanctuary and is very curious about all of the different species that roam in his new home. He is sweet, has lots of energy, and lives up to his quirky name.
Sit’s Getting Real Training has already helped us so much with Pickles. We cannot say enough good things about Tomas Natterstad and his team. They have helped all of our Livestock Guardian dogs become less anxious and more confident.
Pickles is still working on his manners and containing all of his excited energy. However, he improves every day. Life at the ranch gives Pickles freedom and safety. At the shelter, Pickles was deemed unadoptable. It is thanks to your generosity that we are able to say "yes" to dogs like Pickles. Your kindness truly saves lives and provides a safe haven for furry friends in need.
Thank you for welcoming Pickles into our Livestock Guardian Dog pack. Welcome Home Pickles!
