2nd GlobalGiving Report
During the months of April, May and June 2019, the Goal for Equality project carried out actions involving students, educators, young people and the community in order to promote gender equality and the empowerment of girls, using sport as a social transformation tool.
We currently serve 250 students, 115 girls and 135 boys. The main actions carried out were:
1- 06 Formation meetings of the team of educators;
2- Sport Classes in the Modalities:
3- 31 Workshops about Education, Sport and Gender for 250 adolescents and young people.
Highlights of the quarter:
SPORTS AND GENDER FESTIVAL – The festival is an affirmative action that aims to enhance the discussion about gender equality and give visibility to the sports practice of girls in the community.
EXTERNAL ACTIVITIES – To expand the cultural and relational repertoire of the participants, mainly in activities related to the theme, external activities were carried out with the groups. The places visited were: Afro Brazil Museum, Skate Camp, Sensei Solange Pessoa Judo Academy and Perifeminas.
