Sanctuaries of the Earth Mother has relocated our offices to a property overlooking the Wild and Scenic Poudre River around which this project was crafted. We have indoor and outdoor space for gatherings and teachings, as well as the use of the community hall in Poudre Park - thanks to our new board member, Rod Feigle.
We have continued to participate in work around nature, and especially the water, here in Colorado and are preparing for another weekend teaching place in the Holistic Fair in March. This draws thousands. Last time we brought a huge drum for the children to play as we talked about this project and our work. This time we have partnered with a group dedicated to preserving the resources of the West. We will focus on wolves being reintroduced and the rivers again.
We continue to provide weekly radio shows on many nature and healing topics. In fact, we now host 2 shows a week. We have around 5,000 listeners a month. We also have thousands following us in the social media - including a large number of young people. We teach there as well.
Soon we hope to begin a campaign for a large piece of land for more indepth teaching.
We continue to focus on the water of the West - a key resource here. And how we can teach the children about its importance in nature - and to humans.
These efforts, and others, require about $2,500 a month, which the board has been donating and seeking. Please help out. Let us continue to teach about the water, the land, the animals and the importance of being good stewards.
