After being part of the Poudre River Cleanup and Riverfest celebration we explred other ways to expose people and youth to some teaching about the rivers here - and globally. As we did some people began to ask for nature walks. I took them out and shared what I know about he river and the changes happening. Other groups have asked Sue and I to take them out, provide drum circles and then teach that way. These we have begun to honor as well.
We have been taking people out for nature walks along the Poudre River to finish this project. Yet it will not now really end as more people are asking for this and so we will continue to provides these teachings. We are also connecting with friends in Colorado Springs who are taking people into the Garden of the Gods to teach of the natural world there. This project has kicked off a long term commitment to taching about the river and other ecosystems. Thanks to all who supported it.
