As we water protectors at Sanctuaries of the Earth Mother see our waters around the world under new attacks daily we are realizing it will require global action and change to stop this self-destructive behavior.
We have spent a great deal of time and energy educating our young people to the value of water and the threats to water. And we continue to do so. At the same time we are asking people around the globe, especially the children, to stand with us in demanding that our waters be protected - and cleaned.
We have partnered with the World Summit in this effort - an organiztion of water protectors and other groups working for systemic global change in all systems. Only in this way can we protect our lands, airs and, most importantly, water.
My wife and I continue our music programs around water and unity as we also are working directly with students and classes about the importance of water quality. And we also accept interviews by students and classes around the world about this clean water work.
We are also planning a global event around change in a water rich country, Iceland. We will be inviting children everywhere to join us in their classrooms and watch as we speak about water protection and visit some still pure water areas.
This is a huge step up for us and we need help to make it happen. Sanctuaries of the Earth Mother is dedicated to our continued fight for clean water and our commitment to teaching our youth about it.
