On 24 June 2026 (Venezuela time), two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, causing significant humanitarian impacts and ongoing aftershocks. Venezuelan Red Cross is providing emergency support, including health care, search and rescue, shelter, relief items and psychosocial support.
Australian Red Cross stands in solidarity with our Red Cross and Red Crescent partners responding to the earthquakes and is ready to support with funding and technical assistance as the situation evolves. Our Restoring Family Links service is also available to help people in Australia reconnect with loved ones affected by the crisis. Your donation today helps Red Cross be there to support people affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela. It enables Red Cross to provide life-saving assistance.
Your donation today can help people recover safely and with dignity. That support may include emergency assistance, distribution of relief supplies, helping people to restore contact with family members separated by the crisis, providing specialist aid workers to assist local teams to respond, monitoring and evaluation of the humanitarian operation and supporting recovery and resilience to future disasters.
