Dear friends of TIGed,
We would like to thank you for your generous donations in 2013! Through your donations, we were able to provide scholarships to dozens of educators from emerging countries to participate in our global education professional development e-courses.
This year, we’re preparing to start our first cycle of courses! Thanks to your support, we have educators participating on scholarship from 17 different countries, including Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Nigeria, and Somalia. Your donations have ensured that all educators have support and resources to bring meaningful global connections into their classrooms.
Your donations provide educators with the opportunity to learn, connect, and even start cross-cultural global collaborative classroom projects. The practical skills learned by educators through our e-courses allows them foster a sense of global citizenship in their students.
Once again, the TIGed team thanks you warmly for your generosity and for the important part you continue to play advancing global education worldwide!
