We were floored by the generosity of our friends, families, and other generous supporters on #GivingTuesday. Global Autism Project was able to raise over $5000 towards our Program for Rural Outreach. We've been working tirelessly to put this money to work in the rural communities which so desperately need, and want, access to the training and support required to enable children with autism to reach their full potential. As we move forward with initiatives for rural outreach we are taking time to carefully identify the appropriate partner, which embodies the spirit of ceaseless determination and shares our vision of sustainable practices, cultural humility, and ethical dissemination of best practices. We do not take the responsibility of funding lightly, as the vision and mission of the Global Autism Project is based upon systemic change through our comprehensive, bottom-up approach. Stay tuned for exciting updates about our Program for Rural Outreach as we identify our partner and continue to move towards a world where children with autism are able to reach their full potential - no matter where in the world they are!
