I have some exciting news to share with you! Thanks to your investment, GLAAD is going global and expanding our work to accelerate LGBT acceptance around the world!
We're launching GLAAD UK, an official arm in Europe, and Global Voices, an initiative to build understanding and reshape the way LGBT people are treated throughout the globe.
GLAAD has been doing international work for some time now, in partnership with so many incredible organizations working on the ground - from lending support to activists in Ireland's marriage equality referendum to ensuring that FIFA addressed anti-LGBT slurs at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Now we're ready to take this critical work to the next level. We're collaborating with LGBT people and organizations in Nigeria, Russia, Jamaica and China, elevating LGBT advocacy in some of the regions that need it most.
This is the power of our movement - when we join together, we can create real, meaningful impact around the world.
By expanding GLAAD's global footprint to support the tremendous work of LGBT activists everywhere, we can make the future brighter for all LGBT people.
