The Rosebud Project is dedicated to improve and repair homes for low income senior citizens. This includes ensuring the safety, accessiblity and quality of life of seniuors through essential home repairs. In the past year, Reaching Back, Inc., has completed home repair projects for several seniors in the Shelby County addressing urgent needs such as roof leaks, putting tarps on exposed areas, repairing broken HVAC systems, installing grab bars in bathrooms and other minor plumbing issues.
We also provided painting and lawn services and partnered with United Cerebral Palsy to install ramps for seniors to be able to navigate leaving their homes. we provided advocacy programs to help seniors get their titles straight, assist with creating wills, trusts, and POA, as well as land tax issues.
