We are excited to share with you the progress and growth of our work over the past quarter. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable girls across the nations we serve.
Program Growth & Expansion
This quarter has been a season of remarkable growth for Journey To Destiny Ministries. In the Dominican Republic, we are expanding our program capacity so that we can serve and support even more girls who are in need of safety, hope, and opportunity. With this expansion, we are taking another step toward ensuring that every girl we encounter knows she is valued, loved, and has a future filled with promise.
Welcoming New Missionaries
We are thrilled to welcome Missionary Tashcha Jencke from South Africa, who has joined our team to serve in the Dominican Republic, and Missionary Sandra Love, who has begun her work in France. Their passion, commitment, and unique gifts strengthen our global family and will help us reach even more young women with the love and care they deserve.
Kenya Graduation Preparations
In Kenya, the fourth set of girls are eagerly preparing for their upcoming Graduation in January. These young women have worked tirelessly through their training, education, and personal development programs, and we cannot wait to celebrate their achievements. Each graduation marks not only an academic milestone but also a testimony of resilience and transformation.
A Special Milestone in the Dominican
One of our long-term girls in the Dominican Republic, Sara, will be starting University this September. Her journey from rescue to restoration and now to higher education is a powerful reminder of why we do this work. Sara’s story is a story of hope—for her, for her family, and for countless other girls who are still waiting for their chance to dream again.
