Journey To Destiny Ministries has been working extremely deligently toward our main focus of supporting young ladies and children. January marked the initial start of preparations to open the new location in France. Our Resident Missionary relocated to the country and has begun meeting with perspective community leaders in an effort to collaborate and connect. The situation in the Paris Metroplex is dire as there are thousands of young people living in the streets. In most cases the young ladies have been trafficked or forced here and are now left to fend for themselves and their children without any resources. The Journey Center France will offer the following services:
Daily
*Hot Meals
*Hot Showers
*Immigration Services
*Housing Referrals
*Employment Referrals
*Drug and Alcohol Counselling
The Center is also in the immediate process of securing a permenant building for the programs operations. All services will begin once the building has been acquired. Lastly, the center has completed all government organizational regulations to operate the center.
Other Journey Center Updates
Dominican Republic- Currently two permenant girls are preparing to graduate high school. The center is positioning themselves to support the girls through their perspective university careers. They also have a full house of girls with a waiting list for temporary girls.
Ghana- Presently has children from the ages of -months to 23 years old. Three students are in university studying to become nurses.
Kenya- Started their 3rd class of girls in January 10 in hair and beauty and 10 in Fashion Design. The center also provide free daycare for the students children. The center takes care of 24 children daily in the Daycare Center.
