As we reflect on the end of 2024, we are filled with gratitude for all that has been accomplished. We are thrilled to share that the entire graduating class from our Kenya Center—all 20 students—successfully completed the program and are now set to take the National Kenyan Exam! This is a historic milestone for us, as it marks the first year every participant completed the program.

In previous years, challenges such as illness—either affecting the students or their babies—led some to drop out. However, this year, we implemented vital changes that ensured the success of our girls. A major factor was the launch of a new nutritional program that provided essential nutrients and vitamins, significantly improving the health of both the students and their babies. We wholeheartedly attribute the program’s 100% completion rate to this critical change.

While this nutritional program increased our annual budget by nearly 18%, it was absolutely worth the investment. Thanks to your generous support, we met our financial goals, allowing us to implement this program. Because of your contributions, our students and their children are now living healthier, more productive lives.

At our Dominican Republic Center, we are excited to report that we are approximately 45% complete with our building construction project. To recap, this new facility will feature three bedrooms to accommodate girls when our roster is full and provide space for missionaries supporting our work. The remaining 55% of the project will cost about $12,000. We have already begun fundraising and will continue until the project is fully completed.

This quarter has been both dynamic and rewarding. We have made significant progress while working in France, including engaging with key stakeholders in the community. Notably, we had a highly encouraging meeting with the Mayor of a town just outside Paris, where we discussed the potential donation of a building to support our proposed initiatives in the region. We are now awaiting the hopeful outcomes of this meeting.

In the Dominican Republic, two of our young women graduated in August and have since been accepted to universities in the United States. We are now awaiting scholarship offers for their Spring Semester.

In Kenya, 20 students are set to graduate in October from our Vocational Training Program. All of them successfully completed their internships in Nairobi, and we are optimistic about their future endeavors as they embark on careers as both employees and entrepreneurs.

In Ghana, we have expanded our census from 38 to 50 children. We are now preparing for a fundraising event in early 2025 to support the expansion of the center, ensuring greater convenience and comfort for the children.
