It is my pleasure to present our project progress report (May 2019-July 2019) for “Giving children a chance to learn and grow” which isaimed at sustaining the water supply and improving sanitation to Mutulani Schools and community, in Makueni County, Kenya
During this period both PEN and the Mutulani community including the two schools (Mutulani primary & Secondary Schools), developed and posted a Micro project to the GlobalGiving page with an objective of equipping the Mutulani Borehole that was sunk in 2017 with a water Pump and enable the water to be accessed by the schools and the community. This was identified by the community and the area institutions as an intervention requiring an immediate action because the borehole has not been in use for over two years despite the dire need of water in the area
This being the main concerns for everyone in Mutulani at the time, all efforts are put towards installing a water pump to the Borehole and it is our humble request to our donors and friends of goodwill to help us actualize this dream.
