Access Agriculture takes this opportunity to thank you for your continued support to its noble campaign “Give wings to women entrepreneurs in rural India” on GlobalGiving platform.

This campaign aims at empowering six women entrepreneur teams from rural India to make a business around the screening of farmer-training videos in villages using the smart projector, which contains the full library of Access Agriculture videos covering over 100 languages, so that their communities can grow healthy food without chemicals.

We have made tangible progress on ensuring that two women-led entrepreneur teams, which have been equipped with digital tools and skills thanks to your generous support, can pursue their dreams of helping their communities:

• The two women-led entrepreneur teams have made tremendous efforts to facilitate training sessions in remote rural areas using the smart projector to show climate-resilient practices and have already reached over 1060 vulnerable farmers, including more than 550 women farmers as well as school children, contributing to building a better future for their communities.
• One of the women entrepreneur teams has taken a leading role in the setting up of a millet processing unit to make snacks and sell in local markets. The processing unit has just been inaugurated.
