Have you often imagined to meet your young beneficiaries?
To experience the change we've envisioned together?
Lets take you to see one of 19 schools we are working in Odisha, India. Mukta Gyan Kutir school is special to us, as we witnessed it sprouting and growing stronger everyday. We established it in 2004 with the help of donors like you. It serve as an antidote to the current ritual-like education which is biased and alienates women as well as underprivilaged.
Tribal teachers like Lima Majhi & Somayi after completing their higher studies and matriculation have joined us back. Many of these teachers have studied in Agragamee Schools itself. They empathize with children's fear about shifting from their mother-tongue to universally accepted languages. And they believe in our vision. Our teachers are perptually motivated to innovate and inspire children to grow.
Because of their constant efforts and regular visits to meet parents of children, we now have 104 girl children from 6 villages regularly attending school.
On this fresh morning of July, children are happy about being promoted to new grades and excited about their new dresses, smell of new books and stationaries. Meet our 104 children and have a look into their daily school chores.
- We would love to recieve your feedback and to know more about you.
