Dear Friends of Movement on The Ground,
With your recent generous donation to our project 'Give Solar Powered Electricity to Refugee Families' we would like to inform you that we have been able to successfully provide 5 families with renewable energy for 1 year!
The families have been very grateful, and have helped with the process of installing and implementing these solar panels into their homes on the camp.
The children of these families are able to read at night with their mothers and fathers. Especially with the sunset time being quite early during this time of year, the families are able to make the most of their evenings. Their sense of boredom, which has been quite prevalent especially in the evenings has diminished. They are very excited about this change. We sense that it has risen morale greatly and has empowered these families by literally giving them power! It has also given them a sense of purpose whilst helping out with the installation.
This is also importantly, enhancing the overall security of the camp by providing more light in the evenings and allows camp residents to still be mobile within the camp in a safe manner.
We are as grateful as they are for your generous donations, and for activating your networks to donate to our project.
Thank you for helping us bring "Power to the People!".
Ever grateful,
Movement on The Ground
