Dear friends and supporters,
Namaste,
We would like to share a small but heartfelt update from our “One Life, One Sleeping Bag” project.
While donations through this project page have been limited since our last report, we have continued this initiative through our own available resources and the support of kind individuals who believe in our mission. Our commitment toward the vulnerable families we serve remains unchanged, and we trust that support will continue to arrive when the time is right.
During this phase, we planned and prepared sleeping bag support for 10 vulnerable families, reaching 28 beneficiaries in total. These families come from extremely marginalized backgrounds, especially single women with dependent children who continue to struggle through difficult living conditions.
What touched us most was the reaction of many beneficiaries during distribution. Some had never seen or even heard of a sleeping bag before. They looked surprised and excited as our team demonstrated how to open and use them properly. For families who have spent winters sleeping under thin blankets on cold floors, this simple support felt extraordinary.
A few beneficiaries happily shared that they could now simply place a mat on the floor and sleep warmly inside the bag, without even need of a bed as well! Many mentioned how convenient, warm, and comforting it felt. Moments like these remind us that even small interventions can bring dignity, relief, and hope.
As always, we remain deeply grateful to everyone who walks alongside us in this journey of compassion and solidarity.
With warm regards,
Surendra, Raymond & Team
