We are a Swiss-based organization rescuing abandoned dogs and cats and rehoming them internationally. A controversial 2024 law in Turkey allows stray animals to be taken from the streets and euthanized immediately, without waiting or proper reason. Many are left in overcrowded shelters or abandoned to suffer. With 100+ animals in our care and rising vet costs, we urgently need support to keep saving and rehoming these innocent lives.
In Turkey, huge numbers of dogs and cats are abandoned on the streets or trapped in terrible shelters. Many are not street-born strays - they are Golden Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, once bought as puppies, and then left behind. A new 2024 law now allows municipalities to collect strays and euthanize them immediately. Shelters are overcrowded, conditions are very poor, and many animals die quickly from disease, starvation, or violence. Others are left outside, facing poisoning, hunger,or abuse.
Since 2017, we have been rescuing the most vulnerable animals, especially former pets who cannot survive in the streets or in overcrowded shelters. With local volunteers and rescue partners across Turkey, we identify animals at risk and bring them into safe care. We provide full veterinary treatment, recovery, and love - and once they are ready, we find them permanent homes globally. Throughout this process, we raise public awareness about adoption and responsible pet ownership.
We have already found forever homes for more than 1,000 animals, and aiming at least 100 international adoptions every year. Each of our rescues are spayed/neutered, preventing thousands of unwanted puppies/kittens from being born into suffering. Means each adoption creates a longterm ripple effect, breaking the cycle of abandonment and cruelty. By promoting adoption instead of buying, inspiring more people to open their homes to animals who are in pain and fear to give them a second chance.
