By Frances Salles | Camp Manager
On August 1 our campers and young leaders joined with young American women from Northern New Mexico to chalk their visions of peace at the Santa Fe Railyard. It was a beautiful and creative process with Israeli, Palestinian and American young women cooperating to send a message of peace and hope to the local community. Campers had previously met the American youth at our anual Girls' Circle, an event to promote international friendship and cultural exchange.
Creativity for Peace's unique program of dialogue, art and social activities, combined with sharing a community home, is the foundation for creating strong, compassionate and creative women leaders in Israel and Palestine.
