Dear Friends:
We continue to make a difference with a little gift. When so many of you do this it provide us with a way to take care of folks. Our favorite folks to take care of are the forgotton elderly. Many living by themselves in the surrounding mountains.
These folks are offered a once a month class by Dr. Jimmy Cruz on a topic that applies to their lives. Word has spread so we never have less than 50 show up. In additon to the class the elderly person recieves a food bag that will feed them for 2-3 weeks. We also have raffles and offer medical equipment to them free of charge. We could just give it to them but it seems that they would much prefer to "win" the prize.
Thank you for this gift to these people that have so little sunshine in their days.
