We sincerely appreciate your generous donation to support us in providing free antenatal care for poor pregnant women in Nigeria and also, your patience in waiting for us to execute this project and send it's report. Thank you so much and may you continually be blessed immensely in all your endeavors.
With the funds we received for this project as a result of your donation, we intended to register at least 10 persons for antenatal care but at some point, we realized that it's not just about registering these women for antenatal care, but continuing to support and follow them up till they deliver their babies.
Some people are willing to benefit from this project but not that okay with taking pictures and making videos with us and without pictures and videos, there's no way we can really show our transparency in executing this project. We were taking our time to actually meet those who truly need this support in one or two locations, in order not to be going round supporting one or two persons per clinic.
On September 8 being thursday, we were at Nnewi Diocesan Hospital in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, to support a poor pregnant woman, who is over four months pregnant. Because we haven't met other poor pregnant women who actually deserve this support, we have decided to channel the funds we received for this project, into supporting this woman till she delivers, as she's very poor and also living with HIV. As a result of her health condition, she needs to be properly taken care of, in order for her baby not to be infected with the virus, as her only child (boy), is already infected with HIV.
Her next clinic appointment is on September 22, which is two weeks from the day we executed this project and we'll be the one to pay for her drugs and any other service she receives on that day.
We're looking forward to registering other poor pregnant women for antenatal care as we meet them, but until then, our focus is on this woman and we're hoping to also help her start up something in order to earn a living, as she doesn't have anything doing and her husband is a poor mason. We also pray and hope that this project continues to receive more donations, in order for us to keep improving the lives of the poor pregnant women in our communities.
Thanks again, remain richly blessed and please continue to stay engaged with us.
Best regards.
