Give Christmas Meals to Orphans in Goma

In Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, 240 orphaned and vulnerable children are facing Christmas in the shadow of conflict, poverty, hunger, and loss. For many of these children, the holiday season can deepen feelings of isolation rather than bring the warmth and belonging that every child deserves. Through this project, we aim to organize a meaningful Christmas celebration inside local orphanages, providing nutritious meals, small gifts, games, and joyful activities that offer children a moment of dignity, care, and hope.

The project is currently in its preparation and resource-mobilization phase. Our team is working with local partners and community members to prepare the activities and identify the people who will support their implementation. The total project budget is $8,000, and we have currently raised $0. We are grateful for our collaboration with GlobalGiving, which is helping us connect this important initiative with a wider community of international donors and supporters. With this support and continued fundraising, we are confident that we can move closer to our goal and bring this celebration to the children who need it most.
