You have given Pallavi the opportunity to learn a valuable sewing trade and turn her life around!
At 14 years old Pallavi's schooling was put on hold due to her father's alcoholism and destructive behavior. Growing up in a small village with her parents and brother, she faced more challenges than most of us can imagine.
Pallavi used to travel 9 miles every day to school on a rickety old bicycle. One day her father broke her bicycle in a drunken rage and Pallavi had to drop out. Her dreams of earning an education and going on to college were as shattered as the frame of her bike. Hopeless and defeated Pallavi picked rags to try to earn money for her family - only pennies a day.
Pallavi, now 16 years old, came across our sewing training center and YOU sponsored her education. Thanks to your help, Pallavi is now learning valuable skills that will give her financial independence. With her newfound talents as a skilled seamstress, Pallavi hopes to earn enough money to buy a new bicycle and finally finish her education. What's more, she dreams of one-day attending college!
Thanks to you, Pallavi has a bright future ahead of her!
