You gave life-transforming skills to women in poverty at our tailoring schools! Your gifts paid the tuition for woman like Galam, a hard work mother of who is making a better life for her family.
Galam and her husband were desperate for work so they left their home village in search of a way to provide for their family. They ended up in a ramshackle shed in the slums, struggling to find enough food for their three children.
Galam heard about our tailoring school - a place where she could learn a valuable skill and earn an income to help support her family. By sponsoring her tuition, you gave Galam the opportunity to attend school and build a better life!
With this newfound skill and a sewing machine you gave her, Galam is able to help support her family and even made enough to move into a more suitable house and send her kids to school.
You invested in Galam, and in turn, made a tangible difference in the lives of her family!
