In our community, menstruation is still spoken about in whispers. Many girls feel shame, not because they have done anything wrong, but because they have no pads, no privacy, and no one to guide them.

When a girl has her period and has no pad, she stays home. She hides. She misses class. She fears standing up in class because her uniform might be stained. She feels shame in front of boys and teachers.

Every pad donated saves a girl from that shame.
