Hello, my name is Idali, I live in Chigorodo-Colombia.
I have a wonderful family made up by my husband and our two year old son Daniel, which is our biggest blessing!
I’m a housewife and my husband has his own business. Although we live in humble circumstances, we are happy. The only thing that was not allowing us to be completely happy was our son’s condition.
When Daniel was born he was diagnosed with cleft lip and split palate, two conditions that at his young age wouldn’t seem to be a problem but that would have turned into a nightmare once he started to grow up. His physical appearance eventually would have become a significant concern for him. He would also have many impediments to speak and express himself.
Thanks to the project ‘’Give a new smile to 20 children in Uraba’’ and your donations Daniel was able to get surgeries and treatments to improve his condition. He had 3 different surgeries and all 3 were a success. Now he goes to speech therapy to facilitate his pronunciation and speaking once he begins to talk.
My husband and I now have complete happiness in knowing that our son’s life changed.
