The academic year is going to complete by the end of April. New students will come to school from the interior villages those who do not have the upper primary school will come to the nearby villages for further studies i.e. in 6th standard and 9th standard. GVT has started surveying the girl children who are going to attend the schools from the far villages and at the starting of the academic year provide them new bicycles so that they can attend schools regularly.
GVT has contacted different interior schools (in the process) and have collected the names of the girls who are in 5th standard and also those girls who are not benefited yet. GVT has fixed some criteria to provide bicycles those girls whose parents are not able to provide them bicycle, and for this reason they left schooling, those children who are coming from more distance villages, those girls who wish to study further but there is financial issues and other reasons which can be minimized by providing a small gift of bicycle.
There are numbers of girls who left out schooling after 6th and 9th standard, the reason is the school is far. The bicycle dose not cost much money but there could be a bright future for a needy girl.
